1517: The wise, pious and moral speech of Imam Husain (a.s): part one
In the name of Allah the Beneficent the Merciful
1- Imam Husain (peace be upon him) said:
The miser is he who refuses to salute Islamic salutation (salam). (Tuhfal Uqul/ 248).
2- Imam Husain (peace be upon him) said:
Islamic salutation is having seventy good rewards, sixty nine of it for the beginner while one is for him who answer the salutation. (Tuhfal Uqul/ 248).
3- Imam Husain (peace be upon him) said to a man that backbit another man in his presence: stop backbiting because it is the soup of the dogs in the Hellfire. (Tuhfal Uqul/ 177).
4- Imam Husain (peace be upon him) said:
Some people worship Allah hoping for Paradise, such person is like a businessman; some other people worship Allah as a result of fear, such people are like slave and the third group of people worship Allah due to cognition of Allah and as a sign of thanks giving to Him, this is the worship of a free man and that is the best worship.
5- Imam Husain (peace be upon him) said:
O’ my sons, be aware of oppression of a man who does not have a helper besides Allah.
6- Imam Husain (peace be upon him) said:
I am the victim of warning tears, a believer will not ponder over me until he shed tears.
7- A man wrote to Imam Husain bn Ali (peace be upon him) said:
My master! Admonish me of the entire goods in this world and the hereafter. He wrote to him saying:
In the name of Allah the Beneficent the Merciful, after that: whoever seeks the pleasure of Almighty Allah while the people are upset, Almighty Allah will suffice him of his needs from the people and whoever seeks the pleasure of human being with the upset of Allah, He will deputize all his affair to people.
8- Imam Husain bn Ali (peace be upon him) was asked how is the morning O’ the son of the Messenger of Allah? He said: I woke up my Lord is above me, the hellfire is in front of me, death is requesting for my life, my entire accountability surrounded me and I am indebted to my deeds, I didn’t get what I want and I can’t defend myself from what I dislike, the affairs is in the hands of others than me, if he like he punishes me and if he wishes he forgives me, then who is more miserable than me?!  
9- A man said to Imam Husain (peace be upon him):
I have built a house and I want you to come in and bless it for me, Imam entered and look at the building and then said: you have destroy your home and have prosper another person’s house. Definitely those on earth have deceived you while those in the heaven are having enmity with you.
10- It was said Imam Husain (peace be upon him) that who is the most powerful person? He said: the person who did not think of him who possesses the worldly things.
