Fadak in Islam (4)

Some of the references regard Fadak most especially those from our Sunni brothers have been mentioned in our previous article.
Definitely we deduced from there that Fadak is a booty that is specified for the Prophet as it has also been proclaimed by the holy Qur’an in Chapter 24 verse 6. Therefore Fadak is a personal property of the holy Prophet and he owns the right to give it to anyone he wishes. As we know the holy Prophet (s.a.w.a.) did not possessed any surviving child except Fatimah Zahra (a.s.); so he has the right to give it to her.
Some people may argue that why Fadak is given to Zahra hence the wives of the Prophet are among the survivals of the Prophet (s.a.w.a)? In another expression why the Fadak should be only stipulated for only Zahra?
In answering this notion we said:
1- Fadak is personal property owned by the holy Prophet (s.a.w.a.) and he has the right to give it to whoever he wishes.
2- The holy Qur’an “And give to the near of kin his due and (to) the needy and wayfarer, and do not squander wastefully” (chapter17 verse: 26) have ordered the holy Prophet (s.a.w.a.) to give Fadak to Fatimah Zahra (a.s.) because after the revelation of the aforementioned verse the holy Prophet (s.a.w.a.) inquired from angel Gabriel that who are the near of kin mentioned in the verse; he replied Fatimah Zahra, this has also been mentioned in many commentaries.
3- We believe as also mentioned by the Qur’an that the holy Prophet (s.a.w.a.) never speak out of desire except with revelation (chapter: 53 verse: 3-4) therefore we have to accept the saying and the action of the Prophet regards the Fadak.
Therefore Fadak was given to Fatimah Zahra (a.s.) during the life time of the Prophet and she has likewise received it from his beloved father. Then why Fadak should be taken from her with the existence of all these proves? Even though the Fadak was not giving to Zahra, what about her potion from what is left behind by her father? Did Abu-Bakr have the right to have access to what is left behind by the Prophet even though his daughter is one of the survivals of the Prophet?
To be continue……..
